It’s not great at absorbing. Its a pat yourself dry towel. And even then it leaves some dampness. However I have heard that that’s not a bad thing for your skin to somewhat air dry. It’s a good time to apply lotion while damp but not wet. So when I’m not in a hurry I use one. And it dries fast. I love how compact they are. They aren’t silky soft but they aren’t rough. It’s a nice texture. And they are SO big. I can wrap it around myself and use the leftover to pick up my infant and wrap the rest around her. They take up so little space. I love them.

I love these towels so much! Was complimented first day at the pool with them. They are super light weight so you can drape it around you without feeling hot or heavy or perfect to throw on the sand and lay on (they are nice and long!) they roll up so small that I packed all 6 in my beach bag barely taking up more space than one of our fluffy fat towels from the bathroom. We got dirt on one at the river and thought it would be stained but it cleaned right up in the wash! I was so happy! I will always have a set of these now!!!

They are super absorbent, dry super fast, so you never have that musky towel smell. In fact they always smell great that you have to remember to wash them. I wanted matching hand towels and everyone I purchased was not white, well I finally find the perfect hand towel.
